Fit Foodie 5K Run

Race #6

This race is known as the most delicious race EVER. And after I ran it, I have to agree that yes it is. Check out what I was indulging in afterwards. But first take a look at the medal.

Now off to the festivities...

I headed to the John Hancock Vitality Village where there was back to back cooking demo's from celebrity chef's. I got to try a whole list of dishes like caribbean ceviche, crab salad from Season 52, cornmeal bacon waffles, and so much more. All that made me thirsty so....

I grabbed spiked sparkling water in pomegranate flavor. Who knew about this and never told me? This stuff was amazing and all natural. I went back later for more flavors. Don't judge me.

Organic non-GMO fruit and vegetable juice smoothie:
-The green one is called Noon Green and is made with spinach, apple, celery, cucumber, kale, collard greens, lemon, and ginger.

The red one is called Sweet Beets and is made with carrot, beet, banana, apple orange, pineapple, and turmeric.

Of the two I prefer the green one. I've given beets a try and my taste buds say why are you torturing us like this?

After all that I went to the fitness stage to get a workout. I was loving it and the swag bag filled with goodies that I can't wait to try. I also got the October issue of Cooking Light and Health magazine and I look forward trying a few recipes and read Giada's top secret hack. Of all the other races that I've done this was the most fun, active, and enjoyable one so far. I will be back for this run again and again and again.....
