I am so loving crochet braids right now. I've been on a crochet braiding high lately and I'm really liking it. It took a lot of practice and patience for me. There are a few tricks that I want to master but so far so good. I used 3 packs of Cuban Twist hair that I cut in half to create a shorter style.
I started out by parting my hair and braiding only the back part of my head. When I was done I had eight medium sized braids. The front I left out to do loose twist. I made sure not to add too much tension to my edges. It took about 4 hours to complete this style. I also curled the ends by using perm rods and dipping them in hot water for a few seconds.
I think this is a great summer style. I like that I can make cute pinned styles. I'm going to play around and see what I can create. Stay tuned for some "clueless" pin-up styles.
