Product Review- MawAhh

I recently introduced MawAhh and was sent two products to review.

Egg and Avocado Bar- A 3.5 oz handcrafted bar made with distilled water, coconut water, lard, eggs, aloe vera juice, sodium hydroxide, avocado butter, olive oil, coconut oil, safflower oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, peppermint oil, and tea tree oil.

I wasn't able to use this on my hair because it was in a protective style. However, I was still able to use on my face. It was perfect timing because I had just used up my African Black Soap which is a part of my skincare regimen. I'm familiar with most of the ingredients that was listed and felt comfortable using on my face. Tea tree oil is already a huge part of my skincare regimen but when it came to peppermint oil... I have a story.

When I first started this journey I was all over the place soaking up as much info as I can. I came across a few recipes for hair and skin. All of a sudden I became a mixtress and was mixing away. After I was done mixing, I made the mistake of touching my face afterwards and YIKES!!!! My face was on FIYAH! I learned that day to never do that again.

When I opened the package it was the first thing I smelled. It's very soothing. Yeah, that's how peppermint oil gets you. Anyways, my face wasn't on fire this time around. The soap has a very clean scent and my skin wasn't irritated by it.

Island Glaze Lip Balm- Handcrafted lip care made with soy wax, avocado butter, aroma, and oils (coconut, olive, jojoba, almond, avocado, grapeseed, and castor).

This lip balm is very moisturizing and it gave me an island feel. Instead of me sippin' on Pina Colada's, I was on a hammock devouring pineapple Now & Later like it's nobody's business. That's what it taste, I mean smells like.

Overall, I like these products and would recommend to anyone looking for more natural products to use (except for strict vegans/vegetarians because of the lard and eggs in the bar, but you can check out the site for other options.
