Restaurant Review: Ada's Natural Foods

I'm back with another review. Not only do I shop there from time to time, it's also a place where you can  grab a bite to eat as well.

There's an organic juice bar, salad/olive bar, and grab and go for those who want something quick and not have to wait for their order. I had plenty of time that day and decided to order something off the grill. I almost got the turkey burger but I didn't. When I go out to eat I have a habit of trying foods I normally don't cook at home. I went for the mushroom burger. The description alone was enough for me to give it a try.

Made from scratch from locally grown mushrooms. Caramelized onions, swiss cheese, mixed greens, tomatoes, and avocado veganaise. I had the option of different types of bread and went with whole wheat. For my side I chose kale-mango salad.

-Fresh made to order
-They use natural, organic, locally grown ingredients
-Reasonably priced

-I need bigger hands the burger kept slipping away from me every time I tried to bite, got to a point where I had to squish it down (a lil heavy on the veganaise)

Overall, the burger was ok. I enjoyed the kale-mango salad better than the burger. I normally don't like fruits in my salads. But if I'm having it as a smoothie it's not a problem. I just can't eat them as a salad. After trying the kale-mango I was impressed. It was really really good. So good that I'm going to search for some recipes to make at home.

There was also a water jug (complimentary) with cucumbers in it and it was amazing. It quenched my thirst.
