Workout Of The Week- Swimming





Swimming is another great way to stay in shape. I don't consider myself a pro at swimming but I know a lil somethin' somethin'. I don't do it often but I'm "trying" to change that. Who am I kidding? My hair is the reason I don't do it often. Ain't nobody got time for all that tanglin'!  Most of you already know I'm a runner and I noticed a difference between the two.



And I'm off!




When I'm running it's me and the air. With swimming I'm pushing myself through the water. Doing that is causing me to work my entire body. I know running benefits my whole body too but the feeling is entirely different. I mostly feel it drumroll please... in my legs. No surprise there. I enjoy running but my legs hurt sometimes from all that leg movement.




I got tired (not even) halfway through. Come on legs, come on!



BENEFITS OF SWIMMING
-Lifetime activity for all ages
-Tones and strengthens almost all of your muscles
-Lowers Stress
-Improves the heart (I felt my heart beating, I kept telling it to calm down)
-Injury Free Workout (*in my Maury Povich voice* the lie detector determined... that's a lie, cuz I hit my head on the wall)



The list goes on and on and on and on, all night till the break of dawn 





And I'm back!
