DIY- Repurpose Jars Holiday Decor

Don't throw out those jars! Why not reuse them and make some holiday decor.

Whatever was in the jar  (candles, salsa, etc...) I wash it out when there's nothing left. Then I'd save to use for a later time not knowing exactly what it will be.

I'm not a hoarder

I got my spray paint from Micheal's

I used the gold paint for this one

There's a candle in there but you can't really tell

I used the glitter for these. It took forever and a day for them to dry

add your candles

I was hoping to like the gold one better but ended up loving the silver (even though it took years to dry). It just gave me more of a holiday vibe.

TIPS:

-Use newspapers so you don't end up spraying your floor. Try spraying outside.

-Don't spray paint the inside of the jars. It will let out toxic fumes when you put the candle in to burn. Ummm... don't ask me how I know. Just don't do it. :)

-Ball up some newspapers and stuff it inside the jar so you won't get paint inside of it
