Raw- in its natural state; not yet processed or purified
OR
Cooked- combining and heating the ingredients in various ways
The best and most nutritional way to eat veggies is as always in its natural raw state. Raw veggies are loaded with enzymes.
Enzymes- a substance produced by a living organism that acts as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction
(I read that definition a billion times, science is not my favorite subject)
Raw veggies are packed with all the vitamins and minerals that we need on a daily basis. Our bodies need those enzymes to help fight unhealthy bacteria and more. All I know is I'm not eating my corn raw. I think my teeth will fall out if I do.
