Raw VS Cooked

How do you eat your veggies? Do you eat it...

Raw- in its natural state; not yet processed or purified

Cooked- combining and heating the ingredients in various ways

The best and most nutritional way to eat veggies is as always in its natural raw state. Raw veggies are loaded with enzymes.

Enzymes- a substance produced by a living organism that acts as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction
(I read that definition a billion times, science is not my favorite subject)

Some people might say does it really matter how I eat it? I'm still getting the nutrients regardless, right. Nope, here's why... When veggies are cooked all the enzymes are cooked out. They can't live past a certain temperature 115 Fahrenheit. By the time that cooked veggie is on your plate all the vitamins and minerals are no longer active.

Raw veggies are packed with all the vitamins and minerals that we need on a daily basis. Our bodies need those enzymes to help fight unhealthy bacteria and more. All I know is I'm not eating my corn raw. I think my teeth will fall out if I do.
