Outweighing Mercury





Mercury- a naturally occurring liquid silver like chemical that is found in oceans, rocks, and soils



It has a long history of being in consumer products. Improving our everday lives from usage of electronics, thermometers, neon lights/lamps, and much more. Mercury is also found in some of the foods we eat. One of my favorite is salmon. It's at the top of my list, I love it and won't be giving up on it anytime soon. There have been tons of studies and research about the side effects of mercury. Should I panic and stop eating salmon??? Heck no, the heart-healthy benefits of eating salmon outweighs the risk of mercury content. It is rich in Omega-3 a healthy fat. I'm trying to reduce my meat consumption and this is the way to go for me. One day I will give up eating any kind of animal source food. Today is definitly not the day. Contradictions and risks are everywhere, I am aware of that. So far so good I haven't had any  health issues. The journey still continues.......
