I finally started running after being a walker for so long. I've been wanting to do it for the longest time. I didn't know where to begin. Lucky for me there's a very active runner's thread on Curly Nikki. The ladies on there are so inspiring and we encourage each other. I started out with a love/hate relationship with it. Now I love running and I'm looking to do my first half marathon. Sites like
c25k and Black Girls Run(link is on my blog roll) were helpful with me getting started as well. I downloaded the c25k app and it was on. The app is a 9 week running program. The first couple weeks you start of walking more than running. Then as you get closer towards the end of the week you run more and walk less. I was able to run 30 minutes straight. Love it!!!

What I hate about running
-It's
was exhausting. So, why do I continue doing it? The overall
LOVE benefits outweights the
HATE.
Umm... I think I need new running shoes. My big toe is a hot mess.com. Off to do some toe-ups and a 1.... and a 2....
