Multi Grains VS Whole Grains

      
                                                                     


No doubt, whole grains is a better nutrition option than refined grains. But as always there's confusion when it's time to go shopping. Decisions Decisions, marketing can be so deceiving. Words like multi-grain are used to make you think you are getting good nutrition. It's generally made up with lots of refined grains/flour and small amounts of whole grain.

Why do they do that??? Whole grains has more vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.When shopping for look for products that list whole (grains, wheats, and oats) as the first ingredients. Ingredients listed first make up the bulk of the product. You can also look for the whole grain stamp on the side of cartons or packages.

It looks like this. This way you can get a better understanding of the amount of whole grains. In conclusion your best bet is Whole.
