DIY- Cleaning Products

A new year is upon us. Why not start it off right with a clean house. I remember the days when some cleaning products would leave me nauseous. I really hated how my eyes would burn and the feeling of almost passing out. Clean should not have a toxic smell.

I finally got around to making my own cleaning products. Using ingredients that were already in my kitchen. Most of these ingredients pull double sometimes triple duty. You can reuse old plastic bottles and label them. That's a major plus for me and money saved. Ka-Ching-A-Ling-A-Ling!!!

Furniture polish
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice
Mix ingridients together and store in container. Use with a soft rag or old t-shirt

All purpose cleaner
Half vinegar
Half water
*a few drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)

Toilet Bowl Cleaner
1/4 cup baking soda
1 cup vinegar

Air Freshner
water
6 drops lavendar oil
6 drops lemon essential oil
1 drop tea tree oil
*the scent doesn't linger for long but I like it*
