Green Light- Treece

I had the opportunity to interview Treece. Yay!!! To my first interview.

An eco-sista who's doing what she can to make the environment a better place to live

How long have you been eco-friendly? I would say for about 2 years.

Why did you choose to be eco-friendly? Because I care about the place that I'm inhabiting and the others that don't have a voice about what's been done to the planet, such as the wild animals being effected by litter in their habitat, and losing their land due to trees being cut down. I guess the animals was what got me started! But also because I don't expect the Earth to be able to hand a ton of "abuse"

What do you like about it? I like that we are learning how to be resourceful and not wasteful, with recycling techniques, and biodegradable items.

Did you face any challenges? If so, what was/is the biggest obstacle(s)? I've noticed that going green, costs more green (Corny I know lol)! Sometimes on a budget even a few cents can mean a lot. Also, some recycling centers for certain things less common (such as Brita Water Filters) are
harder to reach for some people.

Any tips/advice for someone looking to be eco-friendly? If you're looking to be eco-friendly, don't feel the need to go all out and energy-save your house, do what you can, because every little bit counts!

Going green can be complex. Which discourages alot of people. There's really no "right" way it's basically trying to do something than nothing at all. I sometimes feel like a green hypocrite. Do you feel that way sometimes? Of course, because like I mentioned above, i try to do just what I can, and take opportunities when given to me, but, sometimes I don't recycle, and sometimes I leave the water on when I brush my teeth. It's too bad that more people are not into going green, it seems difficult, but doesn't have to be. (I believe this is what your question was referring to?)

You know I gotta ask, How long have you been natural and how do you keep it so FLY? Haha! I'm a newbie natural! I just BC'd a week ago, and lots of moisture, experiments, and a handy spray bottle helps me keep it looking good. :D

Is there anything you like to add? Thank you for the feature. Please keep this blog going, and spreading the green!
